People are being warned about high tides this bank holiday weekend.

The good weather will be sending many to our beaches and people are being asked to be safe when around our waters.

There is a chance of vehicles becoming stuck due to rising water as happened yesterday at Streedagh Beach.

People are advised not to park their vehicles beyond the designated areas, which are signposted.

This evenings tide will have an estimated height of 4.5m based on current data and it’s also expected to reach highs of around 4.2m Sunday morning just after 9am.
