Bathing ban lifted at Rosses Point and Mullaghmore beaches

The bathing ban has been lifted at Rosses Point and Mullaghmore beaches.

Earlier this week, a high level of bacteria was found in water samples taken at the sites.

The HSE conducted a further test on the 1st of August and this test returned a result of ‘excellent water quality.’

Independent Councillor Marie Casserly says it’s great news, especially for local businesses during the tourism season.
