A plan to bring all bin collection services back under control of local authorities is being proposed by Sinn Fein.
Recently there have been several cases of fly tipping and illegal dumping having been being reported at popular tourism locations in Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal.
The cost of private operators, is another issues the party hopes the move would address.
