Donegal patients waiting more than two years to see speech and language therapist



Patients in Donegal have to wait more than two years to access a speech and language therapist.

Figures obtained by Sinn Fein TD and Finance Spokesperson Pearse Doherty have confirmed that 520 people are currently on the waiting list for an appointment, with 67 of those waiting more than 24 months for an initial appointment.

Speaking to Ocean FM News, Deputy Doherty say’s it’s a worrying statistic for the county.
