Sligo train overcrowded yet again as supporters headed for Croke Park

For the second time in the past three Sundays, the Sligo to Dublin train was packed to capacity, standing room only, on a stifling hot day – this was the experience of passengers on the 9am train from Sligo yesterday morning, as GAA supporters from Donegal and Mayo headed for Croke Park. One of the passengers, Kathleen Henry, who is Chairperson of Co. Sligo IFA, has rejected Irish Rail insistence that such overcrowding does not breach health and safety guidelines
