Community Diary Week beginning 19th August

  • Dromahair Anglers, Dromahair Development Association/Tidy Towns present “Wild Child Day” Wednesday 21st August from 11am to 3pm in the Community Park, Dromahair. We are encouraging children and families to take timeout from technology, jump off the couch and get outdoors. Learn fishing skills and take part in a fishing competition, see what creatures are in our Rivers & enjoy a BBQ with tasty treats. Young and Old welcome. So come along and enjoy the River Bonet.
  • Culfadda Annual Walk in aid of North West Hospice on Sunday 8th September. Registration at 12,30 pm in Culfadda Hall . Walk starts at 1 pm sharp .   • There is a Barn Dance, BBQ and auction in aid of the Michael Gilgunn Fund at McCann’s Farm in Towneymanus, Manorhamilton on Saturday 31st of August from 7pm til late. Folk musicians followed by DJ. Massive auction along with a fully licensed bar. Tickets available from shops in Manorhamilton priced €20. Please support.

 

  • Sale in the Wark Hall, Belleek on Tuesday 20th August with Bric-a-Brac, Cakes, Jam and Teas.  Proceeds in aid of Kiltyclogher Church

 

  • Informal get together with light refreshments, full bar and live music to mark the departure of Fr Sexton & Fr Fagan after 13 years in Killargue Community Centre this Saturday 24th of August. Immediately after the 8pm vigil mass. Everyone Welcome.

 

  • There is a Dance in Cliffoney Parish Hall this Friday 23rd of August. Dancing from 10pm to 1am. Music by Brendan and Pat Magee. Super served. Entrance €8. All proceeds going to Cardiac Department at Sligo University Hospital.

 

  • Donegal Town Business Focus Group hosts The Mad Professor with his Magic Show, Puppet Show, Balloon Making and face painting this Saturday 24th August on the Diamond,  Donegal Town from 2pm to 5pm.  Come along and enjoy.  Sponsored by Donegal Town Business Focus Group

 

  • Garrison Parish Group host a Garden Fete at the Rectory on Saturday 24th August from 2pm until 6pm.  Proceeds to Rectory Fund.  BBQ/tea and coffee,  face painting,  bouncy castle, castle, Jam, turf, sticks, raffle.  Everyone Welcome.
