Enniscrone residents voice concerns over 5G Mast

The local community in Enniscrone are voicing their disapproval at the erection of a 5G mast in the area.

A meeting was held on Friday last where people voiced their concerns over the planned building of the tower that has already been given the go ahead by Sligo County Council.

Locals say the mast is too close to a large number of residential areas and also say they have health concerns.

A further meeting is hoped to go ahead at a later date this week.

Local Independent Councillor Joe Queenan is against the building of the mast and is joining in calls for an appeal through An Bord Pleanála.

Speaking to Ocean FM News, Clr. Queenan says there was no public consultation on the matter.
