There are 34 people waiting for hospital beds in the north west today, according to the latest INMO Trolley Watch Figures.
There are currently 31 people waiting at Letterkenny University Hospital and three at Sligo University Hospital.
Nationally the total number stands at 426.
The worst-hit hospitals today are the University Hospital Limerick with 81 patients waiting on a bed, Cork University Hospital with 42 and Waterford University Hospital with 37.
