Now a very disturbing story which occurred at the weekend in the Sooey area of Sligo.
A pony was stolen from its owners stables in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Not only that, the pony was chased down local roads by a number of youths in their cars.
The matter has now been reported to Gardai.
