The issue of illegal dumping has arisen once again in north Leitrim.
Over the past number of months there has been an ongoing problem of tyres being dumped illegally at the site of a former quarry at Fivemilebourne.
Speaking earlier to Ocean FM, Manorhamilton Municipal District, Fine Gale Councillor Frank Dolan says the only way to prevent this from happening again and to track down those responsible is for CCTV cameras to be installed at the site where the tyres are being dumped.
