Clarke demands publication of report on alleged Easkey pollution

A West Sligo councillor is calling on the county council and Irish Water to prepare a report on what he says is pollution of  one of the greatest natural resources in the north west.

Local people from Easkey have protested on a number of occasions outside the headquarters of Sligo County Council over various issues in the village, alleged pollution of the Easkey River being one of them.

Now, Independent Councillor Michael Clarke wants to know what’s being done about it.
