A special study is to be done in County Sligo in an effort to solve a flooding problem in Ransboro.
Fianna Fail TD for Sligo/Leitrim Eamon Scanlon says funding is to be provided for Sligo County COncil to carry out a hydrogeological study in the area.
Deputy Scanlon said the road adjacent to homes in the area also floods, leving residents trapped until the water recedes.
He told of how one house has been flooded three times.
