Gardai in Donegal during a search operation have seized around 60-thousand illicit cigarettes, a large quantity of tobacco, a large quantity of counterfeit clothing, DVDs and other items including money.
Police in the North have seized two assault rifles and a submachine gun in Derry.
Around 7-thousand illicit cigarettes, a quantity of Class B drugs, 13-thousand pounds in cash, as well as other items were seized.
The searches were part of an investigation into INLA criminality and two men – aged 44 and 43 – have been arrested.
