Students asked to nominate inspiring teachers

Students across the north west are being asked to nominate the teachers who have most inspired them.

Teachers Inspire Ireland is an initiative by Dublin City University and focuses on highlighting the contribution made by teachers in Irish society.

It is now open for people in Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal to share their personal stories of how a teacher transformed their lives and or their community.

The closing date for submissions is 30th June.

Assistant Professor at DCU Aisling Twohill explains how stories can be submitted.
