Sligo Rovers have confirmed that goalkeeper Mitchell Beeney has left the club by mutual consent.
Beeney’s departure was announced on the club’s website and social media platforms on Wednesday evening.
The former Chelsea keeper started 13 matches for Rovers this season but had lost his place in recent weeks following the return to fitness of Ed McGinty.
Beeney intially joined Sligo Rovers on loan from Chelsea in 2018, before moving to the the north west on a permanent basis.
