IFA says farmers should have nothing to fear from rise of the Green Party



Farmers in the north-west should have nothing to fear from any possible consequences from the recent political gains made by the Green Party.

The president of the IFA Joe Healy has moved to ease some of the fear that has spread through the agriculture sector when it comes to anticipating the possible consequences on farmers with the Green Party likely to in the position to help shape future governments.

Joe Healy says farmers are already doing their bit to protect the environment and have nothing to fear from a society that are growing ever more environmental friendly.
