48 people were homeless in the north west last month



There were 33 men and 15 women homeless in the north west last month.

That’s according to figures from the Depatment of Housing, Planning and Local Government for the week 22nd to 28th April.

Twenty-eight of those who were homeless were aged between 25-44.

Eleven were aged between45 and 64 while seven were between 18 and 24.

Two of those who were homeless were over 65.

In a breakdown by county, 28 of those who were homeless were in Sligo, 19 were in Donegal and one in Leitrim.
