Mary (Mae) Fitzgerald (nee Flynn), Church Street, Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim. Peacefully at St. Patrick’s Hospital, Carrick-on-Shannon. Pre-deceased by her husband John. Deeply regretted by her sons Gerard (Carrick-on-Shannon) and Kieran (Strandhill, Sligo). Reposing at the residence of her son Gerard and daughter-in-law Patricia (Summerhill, Carrick-on-Shannon) this evening until 9pm with removal on Thursday morning to St. Patrick’s Church, Drumshanbo arriving for Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon, with funeral afterwards to Drumshanbo New Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if so desired, to St. Patrick’s Hospital Patient Comfort Fund.



Brendan Connolly, Carrowkeel, Chaffpool, Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo Remains reposing in his home today until 9pm and on Thursday from 12noon until 3pm. Reposing in the Morahan Funeral Home, Tubbercurry on Thursday evening from 6pm until 9pm.  Funeral on Friday morning to arrive in St Nathy’s Church, Achonry, for requiem mass at 12 o’clock with the burial afterwards in Achonry cemetery. Vincent Somers, Devins Drive, Cranmore, Sligo. Peacefully after a short illness in University Hospital, Galway. Reposing at the Foley and McGowan’s Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo  on Thursday morning from 11am  to 12.30pm followed by Requiem Mass at 1pm in St. Anne’s Church, Sligo, with funeral proceeding to Sligo Cemetery afterwards. House strictly private, please.



Grainne Bach, Old Fintra Road, Killybegs, Co. Donegal. Remains reposing at her residence,  with removal on Thursday morning  at 10 30am to St. Mary’s Church, Killybegs for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery. House strictly private please, except for family and close friends. No flowers please, donations in lieu if desired to cancer care

Requiem Mass on Saturday morning at 11:00am  in St. Anne’s Church, Sligo with funeral proceeding to Sligo Cemetery afterwards. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, care of Foley & Mc Gowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo.

Funeral on Friday to arrive in St John Evangelist Church, Tubbercurry, for Mass of the Resurrection at 2.30pm, with the funeral afterwards to Rhue Cemetery. House private at all other times. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated for James (Nasie) Breheny, Astoria, New York, USA and formerly of Bricklieve, Castlebaldwin, Co. Sligo, on Sunday at 11am in St. Joseph’s Church, Ballytivnan, Sligo.
