Children’s Play Centres being crippled by high insurance costs



Operators of some children’s play centres say they are angry as eight have closed down since January due to rising insurance costs.

Many adventure centre says their insurance costs has doubled over the past number of years.

Pat Mulvey is the owner of the Kid’s Kingdom in Carrick-on-Shannon and says that a combinations of claims and ever increasing insurance costs are driving a number of centres out of business.
