Green issues are high on the north west agenda

The recent surge of support for the Greens at a national level is an indicator that climate change and environmental issues are finally registering with the general public.

That’s according to a leading green party member in the north west.

Blaithin Gallgher who contested the recent local elections in Leitrim says that despite the national swing not being replicated in the local elections in the north west, environmental issues are still very much at the top of people’s agendas.
