Paul Taylor tops poll in Ballymote-Tubbercurry



Fianna Fáil’s Paul Taylor has topped the poll on the first count in the Ballymote Tubbercurry area.

He polled 1885 votes which puts him very close to the quota of 1999.

He’s followed by his former party colleague Joe Queenan on 1737.

Also polling well is independent councillor Michael Clarke on 1563. Fine Gael’s Gerard Mullaney is on 1523 with his running mte Dara Mulvey on 1498, Martin Baker (FF) is on 1432 and Fine Gael’s Blair Feeney is on 1206.

The count will resume on Sunday morning at 11am – and will begin with the disbribution of Daniel Gallagher (SF)’s 425 votes.
