An Post accused of ignoring rural Ireland with its new ad campaign

An Post has been accused of ignoring its rural Ireland service with it’s re-branding which is solely focused on the company’s urban city users.

That’s according to local election candidate Thomas Walsh who claims An Post is supporting the roll-out of its rejuvenated brand with an extensive advertising campaign which he says is very Dublin centred, and shows the companies lack of interest in its rural customer service.

Mr Walsh says this is particularly disappointing following the closure of a number of rural post offices and after the tax payer having provided significant investment in the company in recent years.
