The ‘Safe Crossing For Collooney’ group are holding a demonstration this evening.
It’s taking place at 6.30pm with people meeting at the playground along Barrack Road.
The group have been actively campaigning for a crossing to be built along the N4 on your approach into Collooney.
Chairperson of the group and Mayor of Collooney, John Walsh says something needs to be done.
Sinn Fein Councillor and local election candidate, Thomas Healy who is also PRO with the group, says it’s needs to be kept high on the agenda
