Emotional scenes in Dail as families of local women welcome new legislation on inquests



The families of Sally Rowlette of Dromore West and Dhara Kivlehan of Dromahair were in the public gallery in the Dail as the process began to introduce new legislation to make inquests into maternal deaths mandatory. Both women died after childbirth at Sligo Hospital. TD Clare Daly broke down during the debate as she paid tribute to the families of all women affected
