MEP candidate claims Donegal people feel abandoned by politicians

An MEP candidate claims after canvasing in Donegal that a lot of people living there feel abandoned by the politicians when it comes to climate change.

Green Party candidate Saoirse McHugh says people in Donegal can see how dire the situation is getting and the risks we run by not changing our habits.

She is suggesting Donegal could reinvent its economy through climate action and says communities in the county could profit from wind energy from wind turbines instead of big companies.

Saoirse McHugh says people in Donegal are not seeing action on the ground by politicians when it comes to climate change and they are genuinely concerned.
