The new Sliabh Liag Strategic Development Project in Donegal has been officially opened.
The facilities at the sea cliff were opened yesterday by Minister for Education and Skills Joe McHugh TD and Cllr Seamus Ó Domhnaill, The Chairperson of Donegal County Council.
Sliabh Liag, one of the big attractions on the Wild Atlantic Way and attracts in excess of 160,000 visitors each year.
The new Development Project has enjoyed a capital investment of €4.95 million which felicitated the construction of the Transportation Hub and Visitor’s Centre.
2.5 Km’s of new Mountain path works have also been installed.
