‘Safe Crossing for Collooney’ group to hold second rally on Saturday

The “Safe Crossing for Collooney” campaign group is holding a second rally to demand a safe crossing facility on the N4.

The committee want a pedestrian bridge across the N4 dual carriageway as they fear someone may be injured crossing the major route.

The rally will be held this Saturday, May 18th at 6.30pm starting from playground on the Barrack Road in Collooney.

PRO and Sinn Fein Cllr Thomas Healy says the long awaited upgrade works on the N4 will see a major increase in traffic volume and speed.
