Ce Supervisors commence strike action



Community Employment Supervisors in Donegal will take part in five days of strike action from today. (Monday)

The action is being taken over what they say, is the Minister for Finance, Pascal Donohoe’s failure to meet to discuss pension rights.

There are 48 CE Supervisors/Assistants in Donegal with over 1,200 participants looking after a range of community projects.

The protest in Donegal will take place outside Minister Joe McHugh’s T.D.’s Constituency Office at Lower Main Street, Letterkenny from 12 noon to 3 pm daily.

Secretary of the Donegal Network for CE Supervisors, Kate Campbell says its unfortunate this action has to be taken.
