There’s renewed concern in the north west region once again today over fracking.
The fears have arose after the Tamboran company applied to the Department of the Economy in Northern Ireland for a petroleum licence covering an area to the the west of Upper Lough Erne and to the south of Lower Lough Erne.
Although fracking is outlawed in the Republic of Ireland local election candidate Sean McDermott says the fact that it could be carried out so close to the border is a cause of concern.
