Young people in the North West urged to register to vote



Young people in the North West are being urged to register to vote.

The deadline is tomorrow and anyone who’s 18 on or before May 24th, the date of the local and European elections, is eligible to register.

Since the 2018 Referendum and Presidential Election, Over 60,000 young people across the country now have the right to vote.

you can check if you are registered on checktheregister.ie.

If not currently registered, people need to fill in form RFA2, have it signed and witnessed at a Garda Station, then return it by post or by hand to their local council by tomorrow’s deadline, to make sure they will be able to cast their ballot.
