There are concerns over lack of plans to upgrade a stretch of road on N56 in Donegal.
Currently road improvement works are ongoing on the route between Mountcharles and Inver Bridge but the section of road from Inver Bridge to Killybegs will not be included as part of this.
Local Fianna Fail election candidate Emer McGuinness says it is an extremley busy stretch of road which is in need of urgent repairs.
