There are calls for the renowned tourist village of Glencolmcille in County Donegal to be prioritised over the coming years for funding for improvements.
Fianna Fail local election candidate Emer McGuinness said it is essential the village is given adequate funding on a multi-annual basis under the town and village enhancement scheme so it can plan ahead.
She says work needs to be done now following installation of a new sewerage scheme.
