House to house enquiries have been taking place in the Milford area of Donegal as part of the ongoing garda investigation into the cause of the gorse wildfires that affected a wide area in the west of the county.
At least one house, a garage, tractors and hundreds of acres were destroyed by the fires, while exploding oil tanks also caused damage to houses.
Gardai in Milford are eager to talk to anyone who could help them and who was in the Loughanure or Meenmara area at the time of the fires.
