A large fire has broken out in Co. Donegal.
An extensive area in the west of the county is affected with the N56 closed between Dungloe and Gaoth Dobhair as fire crews from across the region battle the blaze.
Councillor Micheal Macgiollaeasbuig is at the scene, he spoke with Minister Joe McHugh who says Finner Camp Defence forces have been dispatched to assist.
Two helicopters are also on their way to the scene where a large number of volunteers are already helping.
