Work to start soon on Cranmore Road/Devins Drive junction in Sligo town

Work is to start soon on improving one of the busiest junctions in Sligo town.

It’s the Cranmore Road/Devins Drive junction, where there are poor sight lines, no traffic calming or pedestrian crossings, despite being beside government offices, supermarkets, a church and one of the biggest residential areas in the region.

Sinn Fein Councillor and local election candidate Chris MacManus says it’s hoped the work will be finished before the start of the new school year.
