Ambulance workers to take part in 24 hour strikes



Ambulance personnel across the north west is to escalate it’s industrial action with a serious of 24 hour strikes.

Members who belong to the Psychiatric Nurses Association want the HSE to recognise the trade union as well as deduct and remit their subscription fee from their pay.

Dates for the series of 24- stoppages will be confirmed at the PNA Annual Delegate Conference on May 2nd.

PNA ambulance personnel will also mount a second protest at Dail Eireann on May 15th.

Secretary of the North West NASRA Branch, Christina Martin, says it will have a serious impact on services.
