Finn Harps seek first league win against Bohs

Bottom-of-the -table Finn Harps host Bohemians this Friday night in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division (kick-off 8.00).

Despite a poor run of results, Finn Harps manager Ollie Horgan says his side is up for the challenge that second in the table Bohemians will pose in Ballybofey.

The visitors will be aiming to consolidate their position with a victory and are 15 points ahead of Harps in the Premier Division table. In fact,  Bohs have only lost once this season so Horgan acknowledges that not many can see the hosts taking the three points at Finn Park.

“We haven’t won a game and that’s a fact that we cant get away from going into the Bohs match but the players still very much believe in themselves and will go out to win the game tomorrow night. Now, being realistic about it, not many will give us a chance of doing that.

In team news, Harry Ascroft, Mark Timlin, Sean Boyd, Gareth Harkin and Raffaele Cretaro stay on the injury list while Colm Deasy is suspended.

There’ll be updates on Finn Harps against Bohs on ‘The Rovers Hour’ this Friday night on Ocean FM from 9-10pm.
