Fine Gael add McGloin to contest Ballinamore Municipal District

Fine Gael have added the former County Councillor Enda McGloin to their ticket to contest a seat on the Ballinamore Municipal District.

Enda McGloin will be the party’s second candidate for Electoral area after Ita Flynn was selected at a party convention.

The Drumshanbo based party administrator was selected to contest the local elections at a meeting of the party’s Executive Council last night in Dublin.

Speaking earlier to Ocean FM Enda McGloin outlined how contesting the local election will impact his role as regional organiser for the party in the north west.
