Clarity sought on future investment in Donegal community hospitals

Donegal TDs are calling for funding to be committed for three community hospital projects in the county.

They are St Joseph’s in Stranorlar, Ramelton and Lifford.

They matter was raised again in the Dail yesterday as a result of a motion put forward by Deputies Pat the Cope Gallagher, Charlie McConalogue and Pearse Doherty.

Last week, about a thousand people took part in a march in Stranorlar over the ongoing issue.

The HSE has said the redevelopment of St Joseph’s is included in the HSE Capital Plan, which is currently being finalised.

Deputy Gallagher has been telling Ocean FM News what the concern is now.
