A survey of holy wells is being carried out in County Sligo.
It’s part of the 2019 Sligo Community Archaeology Project.
There are 117 holy wells recorded in County Sligo.
But’s when a similar survey was carried out in Donegal recently, a number of previously unrecorded holy wells were highlighted.
