The aim of the festival is to raise awareness of the importance of caring for mental health and the fight against stigma in mental health.

The festival opens this evening in the Glasshouse Hotel in Sligo from 7pm to 10pm, when the public can meet the organisers an ask questions about the philosophy behind the festival and the challenges related to it.

Music and Stand Up Comedy will also be provided during the evening.

This is followed by two days of activities on Saturday and Sunday at the Knocknarea Arena at IT Sligo from 12 noon to 8pm each day, beginning with a 5 k fun run/walk on Sunday.
