Kevin Simpson, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim and formerly Ballygawley, Co. Sligo. (Ex Garda Siochana, Ballymote, Co. Sligo.) Unexpectedly. Funeral and cremation to take place privately at Kevin’s request. Olive Livingstone Cartron, Sligo, in her 43rd year. Suddenly at her residence, and formerly of Gorthakeeran , Coolaney, Co. Sligo. Reposing at the residence of her mother Rita, Shancough, Rockfield, Co Sligo from 5pm this evening. Removal to the Church of the Sacred Heart and St Joseph, Rockfield, on Thursday morning for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Rockfield Cemetery. Noel Slowey, (Ex Garda Sergeant ) “Anguilla”, Old Moy Heights, Ballina, Co. Mayo and late of Ardara, Co. Donegal. At Mayo University Hospital. Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina this evening from 6.30pm until 8pm. Funeral will arrive to St. Muredach’s Cathedral on Thursday morning for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Private cremation will take place afterwards in Shannon Crematorium. House private please, donations if desired to Croi, C/o McGowan’s Funeral Directors.

Reposing at Coen’s Funeral Home, Tubbercurry, this evening  until 7pm, with removal to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Bunninadden, arriving at 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday at 12 noon with the funeral proceeding to Cloonameehan Cemetery. Funeral will arrive to St. Anne’s Church, Sligo for Requiem Mass on Friday at 11am, with funeral proceeding to Sligo Cemetery. House private please. Gladys Barber, Cloonaquinn, Manorhamilton, Co Leitrim peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at Our Lady’s Hospital Chapel, Manorhamilton on Thursday evening from 5pm to 7pm with removal to Church of Ireland, Manorhamilton arriving at 7.30pm.  Funeral Service on Friday at 2pm followed by burial in Drumlease Church of Ireland churchyard, Dromahair, Co Leitrim.

 

Magdalene Young (Dilly), nee Chrystal, “Kelso”, Barrack Road, Collooney, Co. Sligo and formerly of Stirling, Scotland. Peacefully at North West Hospice, The Mall, Sligo.  Reposing at her home at Barrack Road, Collooney, from 5pm to 8pm on Friday. Home private at all other times. Removal on Saturday to the Church of the Assumption, Collooney arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.00am. Burial follows in St. Nathy’s Cemetery, Collooney, Co.
