Muriel Johnston, Magheramenagh, Belleek, Co. Fermanagh. Funeral service in Belleek Parish Church at 2pm on Sunday, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if so desired to Church funds care of George Irwin Funeral Directors, Donegal Town or any family member.  House strictly private please.



Nora McWilliams, Cruckarra, Kilcar, Co Donegal, (nee Byrne), Coguish, Kilcar. Remains reposing at Coguish, Kilcar. Removal Thursday for funeral Mass in Cartha’s Church, Kilcar at 2pm. Interment afterwards in Kilcar cemetery.


Bernadette Doogan, Crownasilla, Kilcar, Co. Donegal. Reposing at her home. Removal from her home on Thursday at 10.30am for funeral mass in St Cartha’s Church, Kilcar at 11am. Interment afterwards in Kilcar cemetery.


Tim Cronin, Carrick, Co. Donegal. Peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital. Removal this evening, leaving the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny at 3.50pm arriving to St Columba’s Church in Carrick at 6pm. Funeral mass on Thursday morning at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.



Maeve Shovlin, Brenter, Dunkineely. Peacefully at Donegal Community Hospital. Remains reposing today at her residence from 6 pm. Funeral Mass in St. Naul’s Church Ardaghey on Friday at 11am with burial afterwards in Ardaghey cemetery. 


Owen O’Neill, St. Joseph’s Avenue, Donegal Town, and formerly of Drumcoe, Mountcharles, Co. Donegal. At Letterkenny University Hospital. Remains will be reposing at Gallagher’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles on Thursday from 4pm, with removal to the Church of the Sacred Heart Mountcharles to arrive at 6.30pm to repose overnight. Funeral mass on Friday at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to Rowanfield House, Donegal Town, c/o Gallagher Funeral Directors Mountcharles or any family member.


Alice O’Connor, (Diver), formerly Donegal Town and Phibsboro, Dublin. Peacefully at Care Choice, Trim. Funeral Mass on Friday at 10am in St. Patrick’s Church, Trim, C15 NC59, followed by burial in Balgriffin Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Alzheimer Society of Ireland
