Three non-nationals remanded in custody on drugs charges after South Sligo discovery



Three people have been remanded in custody at Donegal District Court this morning on charges in relation to a drugs find in south County Sligo.

It follows the seizure of a mixture of what’s understood to be cannabis plants and herb, with an estimated value of about €225,000, at a house in Cloonloo on Saturday.

The three who appeared in court this morning were a man and a woman in their 30s and a man in his late 20s, all non-nationals.

They have been remanded in custody to Castlerea Prison and are expected to appear again before Sligo District Court on Thursday.
