Summerhill College in Sligo senior gaelic footballers are through to the Connacht Colleges senior ‘B’ championship final for 2019 after a dramatic one-point win against Claregalway College in Monday’s semi-final, played at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence in Bekan.
Summerhill won it on a final scorreline of 1-12 to 2-8 – with Tom Gavin kicking the matchwinning score in the dying moments of the game.
The team, managed by Keelan Watters and Fergus Leonard, will now face Roscommon CBS in the provincial final, which is provisionally fixed for this Saturday, March 16th.
