Meeting to discuss future of Irish Neutrality to take place in Donegal

A public meeting to discuss concerns over the future of Irish Neutrality will be held in Donegal tonight.

The event, which looks at the implications for Ireland by being part of PESCO or the Permanent Structured Cooperation will take place in the Central Hotel In Donegal Town at 7pm.

PESCO is a European Union initiative to integrate the armed forces of the majority of EU member states.

Independent Deputy Thomas Pringle will host the event alongside North West Midlands MEP Luke Ming Flanagan.

Deputy Pringle says the Irish Government rushed this legislation through the Dail with very little coverage.
