Border Communities Against Brexit launch declaration, details on border protests on May 30th

Members and supporters of the campaign group Border Communities Against Brexit were in Leinster House in Dublin this morning where they announced a declaration against Brexit as well as details of border protests at the end of this month.

The declaration calls for no hardening of the border by implementing the ‘backstop’, the preservation of the Good Friday Agreement, continued EU representation to protect rights and standards and continued access to EU funding.

The series of border protests will take place on March 30th at 3pm.

Damian McGenity, Border Communities Against Brexit coordinator, spoke to Ocean FM News just before this morning’s launch event in Leinster House.
