A road safety group in Achonry Mullinabreena in South Sligo say it fears there may be a serious road collision in the area. The N17 passes through their parish and there are also several major junctions which they fear have the potential for a serious road traffic collision to occur. They now say they feel neglected and forgotten about. Campaigner Michael O’ Dowd who is on the subcommittee of the parish community enhancement group says action needs to be taken.
