A retired Donegal farmer has collected his EuroMillions win.
84-year-old Charlie Meehan from Manorcunningham picked up the EuroMillions Plus winning cheque for €500,000 from National Lottery headquarters.
Charlie, who decided to go public with his win, purchased his golden ticket at Barclay’s Newsagents in Raphoe for the EuroMillions Draw on February 5th.
The cancer survivor has said at the time that having his health is like winning the Lotto for him.
Charlie said he checked his numbers on teletext on the night of his big win.
