A recent Manorhamilton Municipal District meeting heard calls for information to be provided on updates for ‘Houses for life’ scheme and for funding and work to be completed at the Taobh Tire estate in Manorhamilton.
Independent Councillor Felim Gurn raised the matter and feels that Social Housing projects should cater for young adults that have special requirements and their parents are ageing.
Councillor Gurn says housing for these individuals have to be made a top priority for the Council.
